OVERVIEW:
With its signature landmark, it would be impossible to miss the Paris Hotel and Casino. The Eiffel Tower, which is half the size of the original, reaches up 541 feet into the Vegas sky. The Paris has forever changed the look of the Las Vegas skyline. Along with the famous tower, you can find several other french replicas. There is the Arc de Triomphe, which is two-thirds the size of the original, the Montgolfier balloon, La Fontaine des Mers, La Fontaine des Mers, and several others famous landmarks. The hotel does a very nice job transporting guests overseas with its cobblestone roads and outdoor cafes, but the real draw here is The Eiffel Tower. There are some nice bars and lounges within the hotel, but no real “party” areas. It’s certainly a good place to chill out for a few minutes.
HISTORY:
The Paris Hotel and Casino opened September 1999 as a companion to its sister property, Bally’s Las Vegas, located right next door. An indoor promenade was built to connect the two resorts. As a matter of fact, both resorts operated under the same gaming license for several years. During the planning phase, the Eiffel Tower replica was originally scheduled to be built to the actual size of the original. The Paris settled for half the size of the original when they realized the structure would be too high and close to the airport. The rivets on this Eiffel Tower are fake since the structure is made with welded steel and rivets aren’t needed (the original was made from wrought iron pieces).
FACTS & TIDBITS:
1. Le Burger Brasserie has an excellent, excellent burger, made with Kobe beef and Maine lobster. Add caramelized onions, imported Brie, Prosciutto, and 100 year aged Balsamic vinegar and you've got one amazing burger. The price you ask. Well, this burger will set you back $777 big ones, but it does come with a bottle of Rose Dom Perignon champagne to wash it down. Bon appetit!
HIDDEN TIPS:
If you’re planning to experience the Eiffel Tower, there are 2-for-1 coupons everywhere. Check all the discount Las Vegas magazines or check at your hotel’s front desk. It’s not a lot of money, but its a drink or two at your next stop.

BARS:
Napoleon's Dueling Piano Bar can be found in the promenade between Ballys and Paris resorts. It's perhaps the most upscale of all the Strip dueling patio bars, with a HUGE selection of champagne and a good selection of cigars. If you're looking for a beer guzzling, rowdy dueling piano bar, there are other places to check out on the Strip. However, if you like to listen to some very talented pianists, relax in a classy environment and still enjoy a fun, energetic vibe, this is the dueling piano bar for you.
